Mobile Bay Ferry

After visiting some friends in Picayune and Ocean Springs, Mississippi, I took a small detour on my way home. Instead of taking I-10 to Mobile and taking I-65 north, I drove south to Dauphin Island, Alabama and took the ferry across to Fort Morgan. I then drove to Gulf Shores and came home that way.

It was probably a two hour detour, but it's the only time I've ever been on the ferry and it was a fun experience.
